IZA Design:  The Original School Shirt Company since 1987

IZA Design was started in 1987, and we were the first t-shirt company to cater specifically to schools.  The idea was to create cool and original shirt designs that students would feel proud to wear.  In those days, school shirts were boring and dated and IZA wanted to design shirts that were cool with a “retail’ look and feel.  IZA’s goal was to provide shirts to schools that were on par with the types of shirts that were sold in retail stores.

In 1999, IZA created its first mail order catalog as a way to reach thousands of schools nationwide.  The goal was to provide awesome designs and a simple and easy way to place catalog orders.

1999 to 2010 - catalog years

• IZA Design held professional photo shoots with real students at local schools – wanted the photos to be lifestyle oriented.
• IZA Design featured student design competitions – winners were awarded with monetary prizes and their school received special discounts on their orders.
• IZA Design also attended tradeshows nationwide to introduce the catalogs/company.   
• Our mailing distribution reached over 20,000 schools nationwide!

2011 – present ( website launch ) technology presence, online ordering and additional customer reach

• IZA Design now features more than three thousand cool and original designs that can be customized for a variety of groups and organizations.   Not only do we provide shirts to thousands of schools nationwide, but we also provide custom garments to non-profit organizations, businesses, fundraisers, and more.    
• IZA Design’s focus is to still offer cool and original designs with a retail quality look.  We continue to offer great prices with a quick turn-around time.
• In 2017, we launched our new and improved website easy-to-order features and a huge online database of original, cool, and awesome shirt designs!
