Custom Tennis Team Shirts – Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from coaches, players, and team organizers about custom tennis shirts.

Can each player order and pay for their own shirt?

Yes. IZA Design sets up a free online store where every player picks a size, orders, and pays online — no one has to collect money or track checks.

When the store closes, IZA prints the whole team order and delivers it in one box. You can also add a markup to raise money for your team on every shirt sold. See how a store works.

Can we use our own design for tennis team shirts?

Yes. If your team already has a design — whether someone drew it or it was made with a design app — send it to us. Our in-house designers check the file and get it ready to print on your tennis team shirts.

Send us your design and we'll take it from there.

Do you accept school purchase orders for tennis team shirts?

Yes. IZA Design accepts school purchase orders for tennis team shirt orders. Ordering 250 or more shirts? Contact us for special pricing.

Where can we order custom tennis team shirts?

You can order directly from IZA Design — the original school shirt company since 1987, known for elevating team gear to a true retail-quality standard. Start with a design and customize it instantly on our site.

Can you help design our tennis shirts?

Yes — IZA provides FREE professional artist design support. You can start with a concept, use our Chat Quote & Search Tool, or upload inspiration and we’ll turn it into a polished, print-ready design.

What are the most popular tennis shirt design ideas?

Top tennis team designs usually include:

  • Crossed racquets + team name
  • Court-inspired graphics
  • “District Champs” / “Varsity Tennis” themes
  • Minimalist athletic lettering

IZA offers hundreds of customizable tennis designs to match your team identity.

How do we start the ordering process?

It’s simple:

  1. Choose a design
  2. Pick your garment
  3. Customize text and colors
  4. Enter sizes for pricing
  5. Approve your final proof

IZA makes the process streamlined so teams can order in minutes.

Can each player order and pay individually?

Yes. IZA can set up a FREE online store so each player:

  • Selects their own size
  • Adds personalization
  • Pays individually

This eliminates the need for coaches to collect money.

Can we add player names or numbers to tennis shirts?

Absolutely. You can include player names, numbers, graduation years, and team slogans. Everything is professionally formatted by IZA artists to ensure clean, consistent printing.

What shirt styles work best for tennis teams?

Popular options include:

  • Lightweight performance tees (for matches/practice)
  • Soft cotton tees (for spirit wear)
  • Hoodies for warm-ups

IZA carries major brands like Gildan, Hanes, and Champion in all sizes.

What fabric is best for tennis shirts?

For active teams:

  • Moisture-wicking performance fabrics — best for play
  • Cotton/poly blends — best balance of comfort + durability
  • Soft cotton — best for casual wear

How much do custom tennis shirts cost?

Pricing depends on quantity, number of print colors, and garment type. Use IZA’s Chat Quote Tool for instant, real-time pricing based on your exact order.

Is there a minimum order?

IZA offers flexible minimums — even small teams can order without hassle, while larger teams benefit from lower per-shirt pricing.

How long does it take to receive our shirts?

Most orders are delivered in about 2 weeks or less after approval, with rush options available for tight deadlines.

Can we see a proof before printing?

Yes — every order includes a digital design proof. Production only begins after your team approves the final design.

Can we use our own tennis shirt design?

Yes. You can upload your own design or idea, and IZA artists will refine it into a professional-quality graphic — at no extra cost.

What colors work best for tennis team shirts?

Popular choices include:

  • White (classic tennis look)
  • Team colors (school spirit)
  • Bright neon colors (visibility on court)

Design contrast and readability are key — IZA helps optimize both.

Can players sign the shirts?

Yes — and it’s one of the most popular features. IZA also offers a Signature Collection Tool, allowing your entire team to digitally sign the design before printing — creating a permanent keepsake.

How many shirts should we order?

A good rule:

  • 1 per player
  • Extras for coaches, managers, and replacements

Most teams order 10–15% extra to cover late additions.

Can we reorder more shirts later?

Yes. IZA saves your design, making it easy to reorder for new players, lost shirts, and future seasons.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes — the more you order, the lower the price per shirt. Larger teams or school-wide orders get the best value.

What printing method is best for tennis shirts?

Screen printing is the most popular because it offers:

  • Vibrant colors
  • Long-lasting durability
  • Cost efficiency for teams

IZA specializes in high-quality screen printing for athletic apparel.

Why choose IZA over other custom shirt companies?

IZA stands out because:

  • Original school shirt company since 1987
  • Retail-quality designs (not generic templates)
  • FREE professional artwork
  • Easy tools like Chat Quote & Search and Signature Collect
  • Fast turnaround with guaranteed delivery

IZA isn’t just printing shirts — we help tennis teams create gear that looks like something you’d actually buy in stores.
